What ifs and Why nots

The problem with people who won't believe in anything is that they end up believing in just about anything.

May Da Vinci code daw, meron din kaya Amorsolo code? Haha. Wala lang.

I was just aimlessly surfing the web the other day when deposed president Estrada (yes after all this time he's still on the news, as if we haven't had enough of him) said that prominent personalities like GMA, the late Cardinal Sin, Chavit Singson, etc. all conspired to remove him from office.

I thought he was going to tell the press next about how secret clues were hidden in FPJ movies and how the KKK is still alive all this time, spreading God knows what throughout the unknowing Filipino populace. Haha. I guess that would be one heck of a story. Para maiba naman.

Pero pano nga kaya kung ganun? What if? I guess people asking questions like that are the common lifeblood of all persistent conspiracy thoeries.

What if, for example, this scene really happened.

Midnight, the banks of Pasig River. A pair of shadows appear pushing a small rowboat towards the water.

Whispered the man in an overcoat as he slowly eased the boat, the oars at his side.

Andres sat and waited as Pepe finds a comfortable position. He is the designated rower tonight.

"Bakit dito pa? Ano ba ang napakahalaga mong sasabihin?" Asked Andres as Pepe slowly rowed.

Pepe said as he stared across towards Andres.

"Rebolusyon? Replied Andres, barely able to check himself.

Uttered Pepe, as he stares at the now tear-drench cheeks of Andres. "What a sight," he told himself, "a hero's tears reflecting the moon over Pasig."

"May iba pang paraan, Pepe, handa kaming maghintay." Andres cried... crying but at the same time knowing that the person with him in the boat is one of the brightest minds of their time. Calculating and intelligent, while he, a lowly fan-seller from Tondo. Yes, Pepe is speaking the truth, it is indeed time.

"Ang alingawngaw ng baril sa Bagumbayan and inyong magiging hudyat," said Pepe, as he put his arms around his friend. Pepe said as he geared up and balanced himself up.

Andres can only look up in silence and awe of this magnificent man. "Di tayo mauunawaan ng kasaysayan," Andres said to himself as he watched Pepe dive and swim towards the opposite bank.

Found it in this forum.

It reminded me of the local underground comics called Baylan when it appeared back in 2002 (I think). Wala lang. I just caught myself asking then, what if?

Anong malay natin? Haha.

Well, all I know is that we can never really know what happened those days. Not unless scientists can overcome the improbability of time travel.

aguinaldo was no. 1 secret that history concealed, and swerte siya kasi he lived to his old age, and the dead people cannot defend their side,
