I just got myself a copy of the episodes of the Avatar: The Last Airbender this week, and i can't get enough of Uncle Iroh!
I realize, thanks to a lot of reminders from my dearie, that the show is quite old, but hey, what the heck, right? Its been a while since I found shows as enjoyable as this one.

I just found out a while ago that one of my favorite author died last September. (I know, I know, it took me THAT long to know? I guess I can't call myself much of a fan).
Nonetheless Robert Jordan, author of the Wheel of Time Series has died of cardiomyopathy last September 16 at the age of 58, leaving the series unfinished with its 12th and final book still in its final stages.
His publisher has announced that another author would be asked to close the series based on the manuscripts he left.
I was waiting very eagerly for that book, and still am wishing that he will be writing it.

Have you ever wondered what bits and pieces of wisdom you'd like to leave your own children? You know, the things that they'll tell their friends like, "My momma used to say..." Or maybe, "Sabi ni Dad..." I've been thinking about it, and here are some of what I would like my kids to say:
- Walang torpeng lalaki sa tamang babae. Damn right! :)
- It's better to say sorry even if you don't have to say sorry than not to say sorry when you really have to say sorry. Those are a lot sorries. Sorry. :D
- Respect the classics. Tatanda ka din at yung mga alam mong kanta ngayon unti unting pumupunta sa retro category ng mga radio stations.
- Minds are like parachutes. They need to be open for it to work. (Hindi sakin yun, nabasa ko lang sa isang billboard)
- Sing. It good for the lungs. Kahit sintonado basta may feeling pwede na yan.
- Do the spider dance. Its good for the lungs. Lalo na sa heart. :">
Wag sana akong itakwil ng mga magiging anak ko pag narinig niya yang mga kakornihang yan. :D

At 1:32 AM,
One guy. One girl. One bedroom.
Two friends, Jigs and Yumi, are now victims of a long-running barkada tradition: to be locked in one bedroom for twenty-four hours. To pass their time together, they play a drinking game called “twenty questions”. Armed with different perspectives and moral beliefs, the two battle it out; surprisingly, though, the game brings out that a liberally outgoing commercial model is capable of hoping for true love just like any other girl, and that a conservative and seemingly narrow-minded economics graduate is actually capable of understanding and believing (her). A game of questions and answers about love, sex, and intimacy leads the two friends to rediscover how to fall in love and to hope for its truth.
Brought to you by ACASIA and ASTIG, this 2003 Palanca Award-winning one-act play in Filipino, written and directed by Juan Ekis, reopens this September at the University of Makati auditorium. Twenty Questions stars Frankie Pascua as “Yumi” and Rhenz Gabalonzo as “Jigs”. Shows are on the following schedule:
